Businesses based in Southeast Colorado are eligible for a number of State-administered incentives. Most companies in the six-county area qualify for Enhanced Rural Enterprise Zone Tax Credits, which include credits for new hires, equipment purchases, research and development expenses, facility rehabilitation and job training.

Businesses can also take advantage of Colorado First & Existing Industry Job Training Assistance to create and fund specialized workforce training programs.
