Ready Financing from Local & State Partners
Financial institutions in the six-county area are committed to helping the region grow, providing commercial, mortgage and construction loans, as well as business banking services.
Southeastern Colorado Enterprise Development’s (SECED) programs and the Southern Colorado Economic Development District (SCEDD) Business Lending Center provide special state and federal funding for new and existing businesses in the region. Low interest SECED and SCEDD loans can be used to cover start-up and improvement costs, including real estate acquisitions, capital improvement projects and equipment purchases.
Additional financial support is available through the Southeast Colorado Power Association. Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA) offers special loan terms to small businesses and establishments in rural parts of the state.
